The best way to travel Italy.

Train is by far the quickest, easiest, and most cost effective way to travel around Italy. There are two main companies. Italo, which are strictly high speed trains that travel to major cities, and Trenitalia, which has high speed trains as well as an extensive network that can get you to most of the small villages throughout the country.

If you plan on taking the train from any airport to the wedding you will need to book passage to “Firenze Santa Maria Novella”. Do NOT get off in “Firenze Rifredi”. From Firenze Santa Maria Novella you will book a train though Trenitalia to “Signa”. Once in Signa, you can take the “210” bus, from directly outside the station, 8 stops, to “Castelletti 2” which takes about 16 minutes. If you do not wish to take the bus you can call the Villa for a transfer.
